1. Definitions
- • "Maintainers" are GitHub account holders who publish funding pages.
- • "Funders" are individuals or companies who back an issue through Stripe Checkout.
- • "Platform" refers to the Reporaise web properties and related services.

Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Reporaise. By signing in with GitHub or backing an issue, you agree to the rules on this page.
2. Using Reporaise
- • You must have a valid GitHub account and be able to legally accept payments in your jurisdiction.
- • Maintainers are responsible for setting clear acceptance criteria and honoring delivery deadlines.
- • Funders agree that payouts are held on the platform until delivery triggers; refunds are automatic once deadlines pass without delivery.
3. Fees & payouts
- • Reporaise takes a 7.5% platform fee from each funded issue and shares 2.5% of the bounty with valid referral partners.
- • 25% of the platform fee is shared with a referrer when a valid referral code is used.
- • Stripe Connect Standard accounts handle payouts. If a transfer cannot be automated, we will coordinate a manual payout.
4. Acceptable use
- • No illegal activity, spam, harassment, or fundraising for non-software work.
- • We may suspend accounts that attempt to bypass the payout flow or abuse the referral system.
5. Liability
- • Reporaise provides an escrow-like experience but is not a bank or escrow agent.
- • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid within the previous three months.
