We listen to GitHub webhooks. If a linked pull request merges into the default branch or the original issue closes, we mark the funding as delivered and kick off the payout.

What if the maintainer misses the deadline?
Funders can trigger a refund from the dashboard once the deadline passes. We also automatically refund if we detect the deadline was missed without delivery.
Can I onboard with Stripe if I’m outside the US?
Yes—as long as Stripe supports your country for Connect Standard accounts. When you connect, Stripe will tell you if additional information is required.
Do you store credit-card numbers?
No. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data. Reporaise only stores identifiers needed to match payments to issues and log refunds.
How do referrals work?
Every maintainer gets a referral code. When a new funder uses your link, you collect 2.5% of every bounty they back.
